What’s your teaching type? Find out here!

Let’s get personal, shall we?

And since Im the one asking, I’ll volunteer to go first. I’m a wife, mother, daughter, sister, Taurus (to a T), marketer, food nerd, home design student, sports enthusiast, dog-loving gal. In my role at Pitsco, I strive to create personalized, meaningful experiences that resonate with our teachers and make a difference in your classrooms and students’ lives. I’m a planner and strive for routine, but I find myself juggling, problem-solving, and reprioritizing my ever-growing to-do list every . . . single . . . day.

As an educator, I’m sure at least that last part sounds somewhat familiar.

Which brings us back to the personal part . . . what type of teacher are you?

Your teaching type determines the vibe in your classroom. It influences the materials you use. It sets your daily pace and your grading style. And, more than anything, it’s what gets you through your days.

So . . .

Are you the professional planner? Or perhaps the innovator? Maybe a maker? Totally a trailblazer? Or yet still, the coordinator of the chaos? Unsure of your type or think you might be all of them? Don’t worry. Weve created a personality quiz (of the unofficial, nonpsychiatric variety) to help you identify your teaching type or style.

After you’ve taken the quiz, pop over to explore suggestions for products and materials we think are just the right fit for your classroom based on your preferences. Yep, creating your lesson plans and those extracurricular programs might have just gotten a bit simpler. We know the back-to-school madness is fully descending across the land, and our team at Pitsco is determined to do our part to make the lives of all our teachers a little bit easier – while having some fun, of course.

Plus, in the spirit of getting personal, we want to make a direct and lasting impact on our teachers. So now through the end of November we are giving away more than $1,500 of our hands-on resources. All you have to do is take the quiz, tell us your type, and be entered to win a classroom set of materials that have been personally selected for you. Sounds pretty fun, right?

Now, if you were wondering my type, Im an innovative, prudent planner, who regularly coordinates a high level of chaos . . . it just depends on the day. Ha! But enough about me. It’s your turn!
