The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is paving the way for students everywhere to find success in life, whether that be in college, a career, or both. And Title I grants are a great way to employ the essence of ESSA. Schools with a 40 percent or higher population of low-income students are eligible for the funds.
What does that mean for students? Well, it could mean access to a host of engaging, hands-on STEM products and activities, as a large variety of Pitsco Education curriculum products can be attained using Title I funds.
The TETRIX® building system, for example, can include or be part of robotics sets, project kits, and activities and curriculum for middle school and lower-division high school students. And Title I grants support the real-world problem-solving inherent in these and other Pitsco products.
Regardless of language barriers or socioeconomic disadvantages, students can still experience success in the classroom – and beyond – with the help of Pitsco, ESSA, and Title I funding.
