New name, new members, same great goals with the 2021 TAG members

Coauthored by Patty Cooke, communications assistant

In 2014, Pitsco Education formed The Advisory Group (TAG), a group of educators from all over the US who shared their expertise, wisdom, and feedback to support our mission: leading education that positively affects learners

This year, Pitsco has rebranded the group TAG to better reflect the collective makeup – educators of all types, including classroom teachers, after-school directors, homeschool educators, mentors, and more. While the core goal of TAG has not changed, TAG has been changed from Teacher Advisory Group to The Ambassador Group

What’s to Come

Teachers everywhere faced difficulties in 2020 – moving from in-person teaching to remote teaching and back again. Pitsco’s TAG members took things a step further, managing their mix of in-person, virtual, and hybrid classes while also providing tips for other teachers and insight into everything from virtual platforms to robotics to project-based learning and more.

This year, 19 of these inspiring educators continue as part of the 2021 TAG group along with five early-learning teachers who recently joined! This group of incredible educators from across the country will share their expertise with Pitsco Education’s Development and Marketing teams, fueling development of innovative ideas for classrooms everywhere.

In 2021, we are excited to be teaming up with these educators to create a community of mentors who support one another while also gathering ideas on new and existing hands-on products, activities, blog posts, and marketing content. This year, some of the focus will be on pre-K solutions, such as the recent partnership between Pitsco and TTS, to provide more early-learning STEM and coding options!

Hey there! My role here at Pitsco Education is our Content and Events Marketing Coordinator. Days are filled with various marketing projects, managing our robotics social media accounts, and engaging with our TAG members. I am a Kansas State University alumna (GO CATS!) and live on a farm with my husband and Goldendoodle. I love working at Pitsco because of the people and the passion we all have for education.
